Medieval Fair Candy Collection
The Medieval Fair is a fun-filled, family-friendly event held every year on October 31st. It is a way to reach out to our community by promoting a safe, fun environment for Halloween, and by inviting them to come out to church. CrossRoads Kids has been a sponsor this event for many years and we’re excited to announce that it’s back again this year!
But we need your help. Among the many highlights of this night are the CANDY BAGS. We are asking you to help us collect enough treats for 1,000 children!
Here is how you can help:
What do I do? Donate treat-sized candy (any kind and amount is welcomed!)
Where do I bring it? Collection spots will be upstairs by the CrossRoads Kids kiosk, at the Compass, and at the Collicutt Centre front desk
When is it needed by? October 22, please
Why is this important? Labels on the candy bags give families information about CrossRoads Kids and our co-sponsor, Word of Life Church. This could be the first time Red Deer families have heard of our church or been invited to come! The candy bags are also a huge draw to get families interested in coming to the Medieval Fair in the first place!
Thank you for considering donating candy, and we hope to see you at the Medieval Fair!
